At Jake and Ollie's we provide you with all natural tallow skin care products sourced from 100% Organic, grass-fed, unvaccinated buffalo tallow. Superiority of Buffalo Tallow

Buffalo are a primal species that for thousands of years have withstood the test of time. Unlike other livestock, they have the ability to thrive in the wild without intervention from man. In today's modern world buffalo are still the only livestock that do not require anything other than grass to thrive. They still require very little intervention and do not require vaccinations to maintain heard health. For these reasons we find buffalo to be the purest, cleanest source for our tallow products. Buffalo have a much longer digestion process than that of cows. This prolonged process allows the buffalo to absorb a higher amount of nutrients in the process. As a result buffalo tallow has a higher nutrient profile than beef tallow and is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, retinol, and stearates. Buffalo tallow for the win!

Benefits of Tallow

Buffalo tallow is rich in amino acids and vitamins A,D,E,K, and B12. Because of its anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial qualities it is ideal for soothing and healing difficult skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis. Our story

Our passion for tallow began as a deep seated desire to source pure, chemical free skin care products for our family. This task proved to be more difficult than we anticipated. Seeing all the harmful ingredients in soaps and shampoos was disheartening. We were so excited to discover that not only could tallow could be combined with a few other basic ingredients to formulate the products we needed, but tallow was also extremely healthful and nourishing for the skin.
